Hmm, if you like Christian Bale half as much as I do, you’ll enjoy this flick. (Have you seen him as a kid in Empire of the Sun (1987)? Great acting for a kid.)
Scarlett Johansson and Hugh Jackman do well and Michael Caine is in there too. It is basically a story of obsession set on a backdrop of magicians in London in bygone days. Chad and I both gave The Prestige (imdb 8.1/10.0) an A. In fact, Chad liked it well enough to see it in the theater twice. Another movie that has piqued Chad’s interest is Borat (imdb 8.6/10.0 – that is an amazingly high rating from imdb.) Apparently it is making oodles of money, even though it had a very small release and so far the critics love it. Click here to see the preview.

On the T.V. front – we are impatiently waiting to borrow the sixth season of Gilmore Girls (the last season *gasp* on DVD), still road tripping to our friend’s big-screen television for Lost and watching Deadwood bit by bit when Bella is out of the house. Deadwood is definitely an adult luxury. Not bad for a no-T.V. -reception house.
