My honey said he wants to get me something extra-special this year for Christmas, because it is also our five-year anniversary (technically we kissed for the first time a few days into the new year). He’s thinking about a camera like the Nikon Coolpix s7c. You can read all about it in this glossy brochure: s7c_brochure.pdf It has wifi – so it can wirelessly transfer pics to the computer. It also comes with a free one-year subscription to T-mobile hotspots, which I think might mean I can send photos via email and wirelessly from any cafe with a T-mobile hotspot.
My sister and dad have both recently switched from Sony Cybershots to the Nikon. The biggest plus is the reduced click delay (shutter lag) in the Nikon. My Cybershot died two months ago… $350 and it lasts only three years? sheesh. I brought it in to two different camera shops for repair; it would cost over $200 to fix it, because the parts are considered obselete.

I’m thrilled about the camera, but if he’s feeling like he wants to spend less money, I said I’d settle for a pair of Frye boots…
Click on the pic to go to the Frye site if you want to see the boot in different colors of leather. Thatsa nice boot!
