books I have read – 2006

I am on a Haruki craze right now. I received an email notice that Hardboiled Wonderland… is in. That's the first one my boyfriend read and wasn't that impressed by. But for me it will be my fourth Haruki book. The first, Kafka on the Shore, I enjoyed, but then I was completely blown away by The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles, which dealt with everything from wet dreams to heinous war crimes. Very real life in a sci-fi way. Anyway, reading it was like dreaming while awake.
