I am roping my sixteen tracks on intimacy into four, more substantial chapters.

I. Intro (Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller – who they are and how they’ve been received – define intimacy)

II. Why I think it’s about this and not that (proper context)

III. Why we (apparently) love the work and let it escape criticality

A. Recognition

B. Control the work exerts

C. Sensory immersion

IV. Beware the dangers – the conclusions we can draw.

It looks like chapters I and III are the going to be old material recombined, chapter II is mostly new material, and the conclusion is expanding on the old conclusion.

I know that doesn’t look like much – but it was painful getting this far. Need lunch. Working on outlining Chap III this afternoon. It is pretty sick how things just keep moving forward when you don’t let yourself leave the house.

P.S. The highlighters were smearing, so I am reduced to sharp pencils and post-its.
